Ha Le Ha Meh.....Se Re Se Sheh...all the way iske Pe! Then we learned songs and games....Meharibain Ayachehu Wey? Lunch time was fun, but you were gonna get if you ate before you prayed! I have so many memories and so much that I have learned from those days.
All the Plays
Once I was a persecutor of Christians, then I was a King. Thanks to Gashe Abenet, the people of the St. Michael Ethiopian Orthodox Church have enjoyed learning about the Bible in a visual way. I learned about the Ethiopian Eunich in our first play.
Deacons
I am still a young guy, but I have served the church as a deacon for approximately 10 years now. Don't ask me if I know Ge'ez though! I learned most of all that I know through listening and repetition. I don't know what my life would have been like if I didn't have the constant guidance of the Lord. I thank my parents and the members of the church for the strong cultural influence that has always been present in my life. I praise the Lord for blessing me with happiness and success with my goals and aspirations.
